Sabarimala pilgrim dies after bus runs over him while sleeping

SABARIMALA: A Sabarimala pilgrim from Tamil Nadu, who was sleeping in the No 10 parking area in Nilakkal, met with a tragic end when a bus ran over his body. The deceased has been identified as Gopinath (25), a native of Punnappakkam in Tiruvallur. The incident took place at around 9 pm on Thursday. The bus had arrived from Tamil Nadu with pilgrims. Gopinath, who was returning after visiting Sabarimala, was sleeping on the ground in the parking area when the bus ran over him while reversing. He died on the spot. The body has been shifted to the Nilakkal Hospital.
