Slight improvement in writer MT Vasudevan Nair's health; know three main info from latest medical bulletin

KOZHIKODE: After one day of worry and anxiousness, doctors finally gave good news on the health status of eminent writer M T Vasudevan Nair. Doctors of Baby Memorial Hospital said that MT responded to medication and moved his limbs for the first time in days. This was mentioned in the medical bulletin, released at 10:45 am on Saturday.

There are three main points mentioned in the bulletin. Doctors informed that MT's health condition remains critical, his condition has not worsened compared to yesterday, and he is currently responding moderately to treatment.

MT, now undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Baby Memorial Hospital, is still in the intensive care unit under the watch of expert doctors. MT was admitted to the hospital with respiratory problems on the 15th of this month.

On Friday morning, while undergoing treatment, the writer’s condition worsened after doctors confirmed a cardiac arrest. He was then put on ventilator support. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan enquired about the writer’s health condition with his family.

Minister Mohammed Riyas, who visited the writer at the hospital on Friday briefed media about the health condition. The minister assured all government help to MT’s family and raised hope about the writer soon coming out of the health scare.
