HYDERABAD: Actor Allu Arjun appeared in the Hyderabad police station for interrogation in connection with the death of the woman during a stampede that broke out during the premier of Pushpa 2. The actor arrived at the Chikkadpally Station Tuesday morning at 11 am. The cops reached his home and served him a notice the other day.

The stampede broke out at the Sandhya Theatre in connection with the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4. A woman died and her son was seriously injured in the stampede. The dead has been identified as Revathy (39) of Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad Police had arrested Allu Arjun and members of the theatre management on charges of creating a stampede. Allu Arjun was arrested by the police on the evening of December 13. The actor was released on bail by the Telangana High Court the next day morning.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been filed with the police against actor Allu Arjun, the producers and the director of the film over a scene in Pushpa 2: The Rule. Congress leader Teenmaar Mallanna has filed a complaint with the police demanding strict action against Allu Arjun and director Sukumar among others.

The complaint is based on the scene where the character Pushpa, played by Allu Arjun, urinates in a swimming pool while a police officer is in it. The complaint describes the scene as disrespectful and degrading to the dignity of law enforcement officers.
