PALAKKAD: Police have released the sketch of the youth who is believed to have travelled with the girl who went missing from Vallapuzha, Palakkad. The investigation team released the sketch six days after Abdul Karim's daughter Shahana Sherin, a native of Vallapuzha, went missing. The sketch was prepared based on the statement of a fellow passenger on the train. It is suspected that Shahna was travelling from Pattambi railway station on the Parasuram Express. The sketch is coming when the investigation of the case is at a standstill.
The girl went missing on the morning of December 20. The girl, who had left home for tuition, told her friends that she was going to her relative's house and left. The girl changed her clothes in front of her friends and covered her face with a burqa.
The teachers informed the parents after the girl did not come to school. Following this, the parents informed the police. Police investigation confirmed that the girl reached Pattambi railway station. Shahna's clothes also became a challenge for the police in the investigation.
