'The Brutalist' and 'Emilia Perez' shine at Golden Globes; 'All We Imagine As Light' fails to win any awards

LOS ANGELES: The 82nd Golden Globe Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Film and Television have been announced. 'The Brutalist' directed by Brady Corbet is the best drama film. Brady is the best director as well. Adrien Brody won the best actor in the drama category for his performance in the film.

The Spanish film 'Emilia Perez', directed by Jacques Audiard, won Best Musical/Comedy. It is also Best Foreign Language Film. Emilia Perez has the most awards (4). Best Actress awards were won by Fernanda Torres (I'm Still Here) in Drama and Demi Moore (The Substance) in Musical/ Comedy category

Other awards include Sebastian Stan (Actor - Musical / Comedy), Kieran Culkin (Supporting Actor), Zoe Saldana (Supporting Actress), Flo (Animated Movie).

Shogun (Drama), Hacks (Musical/Comedy) and Baby Reindeer (Limited/Anthology Series) were named Best Television Series. Hiroyuki Sanada won Best Actor in a Drama category for his role in Shogun and Anna Sawai won Best Actress.

All We Imagine As Light

All We Imagine As Light, directed by Payal Kapadia and starring Divya Prabha and Kani Kusruti, failed to win any awards. The movie competed in the Best Foreign Language Film and Best Director categories. Payal is the first Indian woman to win a nomination in the directing category.
