Cash, Cars, Crocodiles and Gold; raid at Ex BJP MLA Rathore's and former councillor Kesharwani's houses shocks IT officers

BHOPAL: Three crocodiles were found along with crores of rupees and gold and silver ornaments in a raid conducted by the IT at the house of a former BJP MLA. The raid was conducted at the house of businessman and former MLA Harvansh Singh Rathore in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district. 155 crore evasion was found during the inspection.

Raids were conducted from Sunday on the houses of Rathore and former councillor Rajesh Kesharwani on the complaint of fraud of crores. Apart from jewellery worth crores of rupees, three crore rupees were also seized. Three crocodiles were also found in the pond at Rathore's house.

140 crores and cars have been seized from Rajesh Kesharwani, who runs a tobacco business along with Harvansh Singh Rathore. Cars are not registered in the names of family members. Information has been sought from the Transport Department in this regard. Rathore had won the 2013 assembly elections. Harvansh Singh Rathore's father Harnam Singh Rathore was a former minister.
