THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that Kerala will receive light to moderate rainfall on Monday. It stated that all 14 districts of the state are likely to receive light rainfall today. However, no rain alerts have been issued for any district.
The IMD has also stated that there is a chance of isolated light rain in the Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts in the next three hours. Rainfall is expected to persist over the next three days as well.
Strong winds, ranging from 35 to 45 km/h and occasionally reaching up to 55 km/h, are expected in the southern Tamil Nadu coast, Kanyakumari, Gulf of Mannar, and the southwest Bay of Bengal near the southern Sri Lankan coast.
