KOLLAM: Minister Ganesh Kumar can heave a sigh of relief after the forensic report came out in his favour in the property dispute issue. The forensic report confirmed that the signatures on the will in the name of Ganesh Kumar are those of his father R Balakrishna Pillai.

Ganesh Kumar's sister Usha Mohan Das had approached the court claiming that her father's signature was forged. The Kottarakkara Munsiff Court then handed over the signatures in the will to the State Forensic Science Laboratory for examination. A detailed inspection report was given to the court on Friday and the signatures were confirmed to be of Balakrishna Pillai's.

The forensic report was prepared by examining the signatures of Balakrishna Pillai’s earlier bank transactions, signatures on documents when he was chairman of the Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities, and signatures when he gave nominations for elections.

Ganesh Kumar was kept out of the ministry for the first two and a half years due to this property dispute after his sister Usha Mohan Das complained about the issue to the Chief Minister.
