From 'we won't marry' to 'she said yes'; Actors Jishin and Ameya are engaged

It is an end to gossip and possibly negative comments. After first denying the relationship rumours to later accepting to be best friends, tele actors Jishin Mohan and Ameya Nair are all set to tie the knot.

'Happiness is being in your arms. Happy Valentine’s Day’; posted Jishin on his Instagram page on Friday with a photo of Ameya Nair. Meanwhile, the actress confirmed about getting engaged to Jishin.

Jishin was previously married to actress Varadha. They have a son in the relationship. The duo divorced almost three years back. Similarly, Ameya was also married once and is the mother of two children.

For almost a year, there were rumours about Ameya and Jishin being close together, but both had denied it. Once while responding, Jishin said his relationship with Ameya to be ‘something more than friendship’. He also opened up about falling into depression and using banned drugs and thanked Ameya’s intervention in his life for being the change he was yearning for.

‘From the first time we met, Jishin opened up about his shady side and all his negatives. I was shocked but found it somewhat pleasing coming from a man since not many would disclose their bad side to a newfound friend. I tried to give him support and bring positivity. It worked”, said Ameya.
