Surprise phone call at 7.20 pm; Actor Mohanlal visits MLA Uma Thomas

KOCHI: Actor Mohanlal visited Uma Thomas MLA, who is now recuperating from a serious injury suffered from a fatal fall at Kaloor stadium two months back. Mohanlal along with producer Anthony Perumbavoor arrived at MLA's house in Palarivattom at 7.30 pm on Sunday. The actor arrived from the sets of his latest movie ‘Hridayapoorvam’ directed by Sathyan Anthikad.

Mohanlal had a candid chat with the MLA and her family. The actor disclosed how he kept on enquiring about MLA’s health status while she was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The actor prayed for Uma’s speedy recovery and also reminisced about the great rapport he had with Uma’s late husband PT Thomas.

MLA Uma Thomas was informed about Mohanlal’s visit at 7.20 pm on Sunday when producer Antony Perumbavoor made a phone call to her house.

“Despite the busy schedule, Mohanlal found time to be here and held us close with words of comfort and compassion. It is an inexplicable feeling, to be honest” said MLA Uma Thomas.
