Farmer killed in wild boar attack in Kannur

KANNUR: A farmer lost his life in a wild boar attack at Panoor in Kannur. He has been identified as Sreedharan (70) of Vallayi. He sustained injuries all over his body in the attack. The incident happened Sunday early morning. Sreedharan was attacked when he was watering his farm.

When the locals rushed to the spot after hearing his screams, they saw the wild boar attacking him. The seriously injured Sreedharan was rushed to the hospital but his life could not be saved. The body has been shifted to Indira Gandhi Hospital in Thalassery. It is reported that there have been wild boar attacks in Panoor before this.
