THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader K. Muraleedharan said that if Pinarayi Vijayan's government returns to power in Kerala once more, children will end up killing their parents, and parents will kill their own children. He alleged that the state is being overwhelmed by the widespread circulation of cannabis and drugs. Additionally, he remarked that Pinarayi Vijayan has effectively "earned a doctorate" in making people despise him. Muraleedharan's comments came in response to the increasing incidents of violence across the state.
"Kerala has become unlivable in every aspect. What is happening to our children? Is the child who was supposed to write an exam today even alive? What is the reason? Drugs. Cannabis and narcotics, which are more dangerous than alcohol, have now spread widely across our state. Children are becoming violent. In Thamarassery, didn’t that little child die due to a fractured skull? Who provided the weapon to the accused? His own father. Now, photos of that father alongside the accused in the T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case are going viral."
Doesn’t this government have any responsibility? Is it up to the people to catch ganja? Isn't there an Excise Department here? Instead, they ask people to take a pledge against drug use. Is there any point in taking such a pledge? This is the state of affairs here. CPM leader Govindan Master said that the LDF will come to power for the third consecutive term in the state. If you return for a third term, then children will be killed by their own parents, and parents will be killed by their own children," Muraleedharan said.
