Social media star Hafiz Sajeev aka 'Thrikkannan' arrested for sexually abusing female law student on promise of marriage

ALAPPUZHA: Social media star arrested on complaint of sexual assault on promise of marriage. Hafiz Sajeev, known as 'Thrikkannan', was arrested. The action was taken on a complaint filed by a woman from Alappuzha.

Hafiz Sajeev was taken into custody by the Alappuzha South Police. He lured the complainant with the promise of shooting reels together and getting married. The woman complained that Hafiz Sajeev brought her home and sexually abused her.

'Thrikkannan' has rented another house near his house to shoot reels. It is reported that the abuse took place in that house. The two were close for about a year but they separated later. It is said in the complaint of the woman that it was then that she realized that he was fooling her. Two abuse complaints had been received against Hafiz Sajeev earlier. However, he walked free then as the girls withdrew from the case.
