Youth dies in lorry-bike collision in Chalakudy

THRISSUR: A youth was killed in a collision between a bike and lorry at the Potta Ashram signal junction in Thrissur’s Chalakudy. The dead is Aneesh (40), son of Ashokan of V R Puram. The incident happened Thursday morning at around 7:30.

The incident happened when Aneesh, a carpenter, was on his way to work. The lorry collided with the bike when it was taking a turn. The lorry caught fire and has been completely destroyed. The bike also caught fire. The bike was dragged for about 100 meters before it stopped. Aneesh also suffered burns.
