Bike collision in Adoor: One dead, two injured

ADOOR: A tragic accident occurred yesterday at 12:45 PM near the Vembanad Junction on the Kadambanad-Mannadi road. A bike lost control and collided with another, resulting in the death of 56-year-old S.R. Aji, a retired employee of Thiruvananthapuram Ayurveda Medical College.

The collision also left Kadambanad KSEB lineman L. Baijukumar and worker B. Prakash seriously injured. S.R. Aji, who hailed from Kannattukunnu Radhalayam in Kadambanad, Thuvayoor South, was traveling from Kadambanad to Mannadi when the accident occurred. The bike he was riding lost control and crashed into the vehicle carrying the KSEB employees.

S.R. Aji is survived by his wife, B. Rajani (Senior Superintendent at the DDO Office in Thiruvalla), and his daughter, Adv. Krishnapriya (Vanchiyoor Court).
