JAIPUR: There is no doubt that Vande Bharat Express trains enjoy more popularity than many other trains in Indian Railways. Despite the ticket fares being significantly higher compared to other trains, it is the modern amenities and the time saved during the journey that have made Vande Bharat so popular. Currently, 136 Vande Bharat trains operate across various routes in the country. Now, two more Vande Bharat trains are set to join this fleet.
Both trains are being introduced under the North Western Railway zone. The first train will run from Bikaner in Rajasthan to Delhi. The main highlight of this service is the direct connectivity to the national capital. The train will depart from Bikaner at 5:55 AM and reach New Delhi at 12:15 PM. On the return journey, it will depart from Delhi at 4:30 PM and reach Bikaner by 10:50 PM.
The journey will be completed in 6 hours and 20 minutes, saving passengers nearly two hours of travel time, which is a huge relief for them. The second service is planned from Jaipur to Jodhpur, passing through Ajmer. The North Western Railway zone expects that the train timetable and the final approval from the Ministry of Railways will be received soon.
