13-year-old boy missing from Aluva returns home on own will

KOCHI: A 13-year-old boy, who went missing from Aluva, has returned home. The boy identified as Althaf Ameen, son of Sadath of Thayikkattukara Kunnatheri and a student of ANDP School in Aluva, went missing on Tuesday night. He reached home Thursday morning on his own will when the Aluva police were conducting an investigation.

The news of the missing boy was widely circulated on social media. His parents said that he returned after seeing the heartbroken news. The boy has not been produced in the police station so far. He has one exam today and will be produced after that. His family said there are no financial or other issues disturbing him. The police conducted an investigation focusing on the phone and CCTV footage. The police were also investigating whether he had fallen into the hands of the drug mafia.
