Murder, assault and more; KAAPA invoked against twin brothers in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Police invoked KAAPA charges against twin brothers accused of murder, assault, and attempted murder.

Police action is against brothers Brahmajith (22) and Vishnujith (22), both included in the criminal list in Mannuthy police station limits. Thrissur Range DIG instructed the officials to invoke KAAPA charges on the criminals.

They are currently serving prison sentences in different cases. In 2023, they served six months in prison under the KAAPA. Even after coming out from jail, the two continued with their old shenanigans, which has now forced police to impose KAAPA charges against them for a year.

The Mannuthy police station has about 10 cases against the two, including two murders, an attempt to murder, and assault.
