Youth hacked to death in Kollam over previous enmity

KOLLAM: A youth was hacked to death in Karunagappally. The dead is Santhosh of Thachayilmukku. He is an accused in a murder attempt case. It is hinted that previous enmity led to the murder. The incident happened early Thursday morning at 2. A team in a car barged into his house and hacked him to death.

Only Santhosh and his mother were at home at the time of the incident. Santhosh is an accused in attacking Pankaj in 2014. The police are investigating whether the murder is related to the attack. Santhosh’s leg has been severed. He was found lying in a pool of blood and this may have led to his death. The police reached the spot and an investigation has started.
