RIYADH: With the sighting of the crescent moon in Saudi Arabia, all Gulf countries except Oman will celebrate Eid al-Fitr on Sunday. Since the moon was not sighted in Oman, the country will complete 30 days of Ramadan and celebrate Eid on Monday.
In Saudi Arabia, believers will celebrate Eid tomorrow after completing 29 days of Ramadan. The Eid prayer in Mecca will be held at 6:30 AM. Special arrangements have been made for Eid prayers in mosques and Eid grounds across the Gulf countries. Various Malayali communities and expatriate organizations will also set up Eid prayer gatherings.
