Tragic accident claims young Air India ground staff worker; motorcycle collides with car near Trivandrum airport

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A young Air India employee died in a collision between his motorcycle and a car while returning from work. Praju Prakash, 21, hailing from Achankovil, Kollam, had joined the airline as ground staff just one month ago. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM Monday on Aksharaveethi Road between Chakka and Pettah. Praju, who stayed in a rented home in Pattoor for easier work access, was riding a Duke motorcycle after having food. He collided with an Innova car carrying Technopark employees while crossing the road toward Pettah. He was rushed to Medical College Hospital but could not be saved. Praju is survived by his parents Paul Stephen and Viji Paul, and his sister Lavanya.
