Forced six-year old Abel into unnatural sexual acts, pushed boy into pond when he resisted; Jojo is accused in theft cases as well

THRISSUR: More details have emerged regarding the murder of six-year-old Abel, who had gone missing in Kuzhoor. The deceased, Abel, is the son of Kuzhoor native Ajish. A 20-year-old neighbor named Jojo has been taken into police custody in connection with the incident. Abel was a UKG student at Thanishery St. Xavier’s School and had gone missing on Thursday evening.

The breakthrough came during a search operation that focused on CCTV footage. One of the nearby buildings captured video showing Abel running and playing on the road with a local youth. Based on this evidence, Jojo was taken into custody and questioned, during which he confessed to the crime.

According to his statement, he forced the child into unnatural sexual acts and, when the child resisted, he pushed him into a pond. Abel's body was recovered from the pond near his house at around 9:30 p.m. Police revealed that Jojo is an accused in several theft cases. After the child went missing, he had also joined the locals and the police in the search efforts.
