‘Has been haunting Shine for 10 years, long standing relationship with actress Vincy’; says actor’s family

KOCHI: Family of actor Shine Tom Chacko has reacted to actress Vincy Aloshious revelation of his misbehavior with her on the film sets after using drugs. The family clarified that they have been haunting Shine for 10 years and that they have a long-standing relationship with Vincy and her family. Shine Tom Chacko's parents responded to the media.

'She has been haunting Shine for 10 years. First, a drug case came and there was no evidence for it. After that, Shine is being haunted again. Has a long-standing relationship with Vincy and her family for years. Both families were together in Ponnani. The two were together on location four months ago. She did not have any complaints then. She later raised a complaint. Don’t know what it is. Shine was supposed to reach home yesterday, but did not come. We have not been able to contact him yet,' the family clarified.

Meantime, Excise Minister M B Rajesh clarified that a possible investigation will be conducted based on the information available on the revelations of Vincy Aloshious. The minister clarified that the excise will investigate if a complaint is received and that every such information received will be taken very seriously.

‘The court itself had pointed out and strongly criticized the lapse on the part of the police in the incident where a similar case was filed against the accused actor and he was acquitted. However, that case was during the UDF government. The LDF government has no responsibility in it. The information on that was clarified in the assembly itself,' the minister said.
