NEW DELHI: Four terrorists involved in the Pahalgam terror attack that shook the nation have been identified. The investigation team said two of them are from Pakistan and two from Kashmir. Pakistani terrorist Hashim Moosa led the terror attack that happened on Tuesday. Ali Tanha and Asif Fauji are the terrorists from Pakistan. Adil Thokar and Ahsan are from Kashmir. The houses of Kashmiri terrorists have been demolished and the visuals of it have surfaced.
The investigation team has also confirmed that Hashim Moosa, who led the Pahalgam terror attack, has led two terror attacks before this. Meantime, although a sketch has been released, no arrest has been made in the incident so far. The investigation team is conducting an extensive search for the terrorists. Jammu and Kashmir Police has also announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for anyone providing any information about the terrorists.
Jammu and Kashmir Police has appointed a special team led by Anantnag Additional SP to investigate the terror attack. The NIA team has collected forensic evidence from Baisaran and sent it for examination. Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi is visiting Jammu and Kashmir today. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi will also visit Kashmir today.
26 including a foreigner were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. The foreigner killed is a Nepali national. Armed terrorists attacked the Baisaran Valley at around 2:30 pm on Tuesday. The attack targeted tourists. Initially, reports said one person was killed, but the death toll later rose. The Pahalgam attack was one of the biggest terror attacks in Kashmir in recent times.
