NEW DELHI: Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Adampur Airbase in Punjab, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit the Bhuj Airbase in Gujarat. The visit will take place on Friday and Saturday. During his visit, Rajnath Singh will interact with military personnel stationed at the Bhuj Airbase, who played a crucial role in neutralising Pakistani drones and missiles during Operation Sindoor.

Rajnath Singh is also expected to visit Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow. Reports suggest he will be in Poonch on Friday.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited the Adampur Airbase. Meanwhile, the details of Operation Sindoor—India’s response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam—were briefed to President Droupadi Murmu by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan and the three service chiefs. President Droupadi Murmu commended the bravery and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces during the briefing.
