THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala is likely to receive heavy rainfall until Tuesday. A yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts today. Along with rain, there is also a likelihood of thunderstorms and lightning.
As part of the "Kallakkadal" (swell surge) phenomenon, the National Centre for Ocean Information Services has warned of high sea incursions today in the following areas:
Ernakulam: From Munambam Harbour to Maruvakkad
Alappuzha: From Chellanam to Azhikode Jetty
Thrissur: From Aatupuram to Kodungallur
Fisherfolk and coastal residents are advised to remain vigilant.
