NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi has asked the central government how many Indian fighter jets were lost in Operation Sindoor and the subsequent conflict with Pakistan. Rahul's question was after sharing a video of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar saying that India had informed Pakistan in advance that the attack was only against terrorist camps. Rahul responded through his X page.

Rahul Gandhi also said that it was a crime to inform Pakistan about the Indian move. However, central government sources clarify that the warning that it was not a move against the military was given to Pakistan after destroying all the terrorist camps. The Pahalgam terror attack that shocked the country took place on April 22. 26 innocent lives were lost. Nine Pakistani terror camps that were involved in this were targeted and destroyed by the Indian Army through Operation Sindoor on May 7.
