NEW DELHI: Air Force Chief AP Singh said Pakistan requested ceasefire after Operation Sindoor. He also rejected the propaganda that the ceasefire was caused by the intervention of US President Donald Trump. A P Singh also clarified that India shot down Pakistan's US-made F-16 and Chinese J-17 aircraft.
The revelation was at the press meet convened here today. The world saw the power and accuracy of the Indian Army through Operation Sindoor. The Air Force Chief also revealed that Pakistan had lost 10 aircrafts. He also denied the claim that Pakistan destroyed Indian jets.
'Operation Sindoor is a lesson to the terrorists who killed innocent people. We attacked targets more than 300 km away. Then Pakistan requested ceasefire. India destroyed many Pakistani missiles and drones in a fight that lasted for 100 hours. India's war strategies will change. The wars we have seen so far will not be the same in the future. We must be prepared for the future now. This is the 21st century. The number of soldiers or the size of the arsenal will no longer be enough. Cyber warfare, artificial intelligence, and satellite-based surveillance are shaping the wars of the future,' the Air Force Chief clarified.
