NEW DELHI: The Ministry of External Affairs has responded to Rahul Gandhi's allegations. The Ministry of External Affairs clarified that Pakistan was warned after the first phase of Operation Sindoor. This is what S Jaishankar said. The Ministry of External Affairs also stated that the claim that Pakistan was informed before Operation Sindoor is a misrepresentation of facts.

Rahul Gandhi had asked the central government how many Indian fighter jets were lost in Operation Sindoor and the subsequent conflict with Pakistan. Rahul's question was shared after sharing a video of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. "At the start of the operation, we had sent a message to Pakistan, saying we are striking at terrorist infrastructure and we are not striking at the military. So the military has the option of standing out and not interfering in this process. They chose not to take that good advice," Minister Jaishankar can be heard saying in the video.

Rahul posted the questions and the video on his X page. Rahul Gandhi also said that informing Pakistan about the Indian move was a crime.

The Pahalgam terror attack took place on April 22. 26 innocent lives were lost. Nine Pakistani terrorist camps that were involved in this were traced and destroyed by the Indian Army on May 7 through Operation Sindoor.
