HYDERABAD: In a tragic incident, four children died of suffocation after getting trapped inside a car parked on the roadside. The incident took place in Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh.

The children were playing in front of the house when they saw the car parked on the roadside. They then playfully entered the car and accidentally locked the door. Due to the lack of air inside the car, the children suffocated.

The children were found dead inside the car a few hours later during a search carried out by the parents and locals. The deceased children are Uday (8), Charumathi (8), Karishma (6) and Manaswini (6). Charumathi and Karishma were siblings.

This marks the second such incident in recent months. In April, two girls, aged 4 and 5, died under similar circumstances in Telangana's Rangareddy district after being trapped in a parked car while playing.
