NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for the Centre and the states to work together for the goal of a developed India. If Centre, states work together like Team India, no goal is impossible. Modi was speaking while chairing the 10th Governing Council of NITI Aayog.
The Prime Minister said that we should focus on a single goal of a developed India by 2047. The goal is to develop every city and village. A developed India is the aspiration and goal of 140 crore people. Let's work to bring about a change in the lives of the common man. People should feel the change. We need future-oriented urban development with the mantra of growth, innovation and sustainability.
The agenda of the meeting was Viksit Bharat @2047. Measures to promote entrepreneurship, enhance skilling and create sustainable employment opportunities were also discussed in the meeting.
NDA Chief Ministers Nitish Kumar, N. Chandrababu Naidu, Conrad Sangma and Pushkar Singh Dhami participated. From the opposition, M.K. Stalin, Hemant Soren, Bhagwant Mann, Revanth Reddy, Sukhwinder Sukhu, Omar Abdullah and others also participated in the discussion. Pinarayi Vijayan, Mamata Banerjee, Siddaramaiah and N. Rangaswamy did not participate.
