Woman teacher suspended for filing fake complaint citing illegal relationship between male teacher and student

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman teacher has been suspended for filing a fake complaint citing illegal relationship between a male teacher and a student.
Her complaint said the male teacher sexually abused the student in Kilimanoor. The false propaganda was triggered by a dispute between teachers. She spread false propaganda against a teacher from the opposing group. It was found that another employee of the school was also involved in the incident. This employee had been suspended earlier in the case of stealing the attendance book.

The student was not able to go to school for several days due to health issues. The teacher circulated the defamatory propaganda that she has an affair with the teacher. The student had to abandon her studies due to the teacher's false propaganda. Her mother filed a complaint with the chief minister, alleging that a teacher and an employee were behind the incident.

Minister V Sivankutty directed the deputy director of education to investigate the incident and submit an urgent report. The accused teacher shared some information mentioning the student's name on some WhatsApp groups. They filed a complaint with the police and the CWC. Investigation revealed that the complaint was false. The school manager issued an order suspending the teacher after the allegations became strong.
