New timetable in schools from next week

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty announced that the timetable as per the new academic calendar in schools will be implemented from next week. Class time in high schools has been increased by half an hour on days except Fridays. Class time has been increased by 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon. A circular will be issued on how to arrange classes accordingly. There will be 198 academic days for the LP category, 200 in UP and 205 in high school. Two Saturdays for the UP category and six Saturdays for high school will be working days.
