New kid on the block! Tejalakshmi, daughter of Urvashi and Manoj K Jayan, to foray into films

Tejalakshmi alias Kunjatta, daughter of actors Urvashi and Manoj K Jayan, is all set to make her debut as an actor. She is following her parents’ footsteps and foraying into films. She will be making her acting debut with the Malayalam film ‘Sundariyayaval Stella’. A video of Manoj K Jayan getting emotional during the press meet of this film is going viral. Kunjatta is also seen in the video. He said that when she expressed her desire to act in films, he asked her to inform her mother first.

‘This is the happiest moment in my life. She told me about her desire two years ago. She first told my wife Asha. When she told me, I asked her to tell her mother first. Even if she has to go to Chennai for that, it's fine. She has to get the blessings of her mother first. She is one of the top actresses in South India. Kunjatta later went to Chennai and got her mother's blessings.

Urvashi happily agreed. My intimate friends Sethu and Alex managed the rest of the things. Sethu said that there is a good film for her to act in and should listen to the story.
