16-year-old girl found dead; investigation begins

IDUKKI: A 16-year-old girl has been found dead Thursday morning. The incident happened at around 4:30 am at Kanchiyar in Idukki. The dead is Sreeparvathy, daughter of Udayan of Kakkattukada. She was found hanging in the room back to her house. Sreeparvathy, who had passed the 10th class examination, was waiting for Plus One admission. The police reached the spot and completed the inquest proceedings. The cause of death is unclear. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
