BENGALURU: Indian Railways is all set to start a direct train service connecting Bengaluru in Karnataka and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. The train services will start on June 19, 2025. The train number is 06597/ 06598. This will be very beneficial for travellers wishing to go to Uttarakhand. This service will help connect the North Indian states with the South Indian states.
Yeshwantpur - Rishikesh Express Special (06597) will depart Yeshwantpur at 7 am on June 19, 26 and July 3 and reach Rishikesh at 10.20 am the next day. On June 21, 28 and July 5, train number 06598 will depart Rishikesh at 5.55 pm and return to Yeshwantpur at 7.45 pm the next day. The train will pass through major cities like Nagpur, Bhopal, Agra and Haridwar.
The train offers a variety of amenities to suit different passengers, including AC First Class, AC Two Tier, AC Three Tier, Sleeper Class and General Unreserved coaches.
