TEL AVIV: Israel has called on the UN Security Council to condemn Iran’s attack on Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, Israel. The demand comes ahead of a scheduled UN Security Council meeting. Israel stated that Iran's actions amount to a war crime and terrorism, emphasising that the hospital targeted in the attack provides medical care equally to Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
Meanwhile, Iran has also approached the UN Security Council over Israel's attack on the Arak nuclear facility. Israel has also opposed the decision to allow Iran’s Foreign Minister to speak at the UN Human Rights Council. According to Israel, the Human Rights Council session is set to begin with a speech by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
