"Appropriate assistance will be provided, government will take health sector forward with greater strength": Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that proper assistance will be provided to the family members of Bindu, who died in the building collapse at Kottayam Medical College. He said in a Facebook post that appropriate assistance will be provided to Bindu's family members and that he shares their grief. The government has clarified that it will take precautions to prevent the recurrence of unfortunate and painful accidents like the one that happened at the medical college.

Meanwhile, Bindu's husband Vishruthan said that Health Minister Veena George had called him and that he is relieved with the support of the Chief Minister and the Health Minister.
