Four of family charred to death in USA in truck-car collision

WASHINGTON: Four of a family from Hyderabad were killed in a car accident in the USA. The incident happened in Dallas on Monday. Sri Venkat, his wife Tejaswini and their two children were those killed in the accident. The accident happened when their car collided with a truck while they returning after visiting their relatives.

The accident happened in Green County when a truck which was travelling on the wrong side of the road crashed head on with their car. The impact caused the car to catch fire. All the four were trapped inside and this led to their immolation.

They had come to the US for a holiday. With the car reduced to ashes, the remains of the victims were sent for forensic analysis. The DNA samples will be used to identify the victims before handing over their bodies to the family, the authorities said.
