Woman electrocuted in front of house in Attingal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An elderly woman died after being electrocuted in front of her house in Attingal. The dead is Leelamani (87) of Koorav Vila in Poovanpara. She was electrocuted from the line connected to her house from the electric post. Leelamani and her disabled daughter Aswathi were living in the house.

Leelamani had gone to the nearby electrician's house last evening as there was no power in her house. When the electrician came to her house this morning, she was found lying dead in front of her house. The power line was found twisted in her hands. Leelamani came out of the house after locking her disabled daughter inside the house. Attingal police reached the spot and took action.
