STOCKHOLM: A company that has come up with an unusual policy to reduce employee stress is currently the main topic of discussion on social media. The new policy was introduced by a Swedish company called Erika Lust Films. The company is giving employees a 30-minute break to masturbate. Company officials say that this was implemented to improve mental health and reduce workplace stress. Erika Lust is a company that makes adult films. There are more than 40 employees here. The policy was introduced in 2020, when Covid 19 began, and the authorities state that the 30-minute break, which was initially started as a test, has been part of the company since May 2022.

'“In 2021, a year into the pandemic, I started noticing my team and myself struggling. Years of pandemic life had started to take their toll on us. We were less focused, more agitated and overall more anxious. So last May (2021), I decided to dedicate Masturbation Month to my team by giving them an extra 30-minutes off every day to use for their self-pleasure routine. I set up a private room in the office which we call ‘the masturbation station’ to provide them with a safe, comfortable space for their masturbation break.”'- Erika, the company owner, told a media outlet. In 2022, Erika's company approached German sex toy brand Fan Factory to provide employees with sex toys. A survey conducted by 'Chemist4U' in 2022 revealed that 14 percent of people masturbate during work.
