MDMA, hashish oil found hidden in pickle bottle, three held

KANNUR: Drugs were found hidden in a pickle bottle handed over to an expat by his neighbour, to hand over it to a person in the Gulf. The incident happened at Kanayannur Iriveri Chakkarakkal. The drugs were found in the bottle handed over to Mithilaj, an expat by his neighbour Jisin. MDMA and Hashish oil were found hidden in the bottle. The Chakkarakkal police arrested three in connection with the incident.

Mithilaj was scheduled to go to Saudi Arabia tomorrow. Jisin handed over the bottle to the expat while he was packing things. The bottle was given to hand it over to one working with Mithilaj. As the bottle did not have a seal, the inmates of the house grew suspicious. When they transferred the pickle to another vessel, found drugs hidden in small plastic covers. They immediately informed the police.

An examination by the police found 2.6 gams of MDMA hidden in the bottle. 3.4 grams of hashish oil were also there. The police then arrested K P Arshad (31), K K Sreelal (24) and P Jisin, natives of Chakkarakkal. Police said a detailed investigation will be conducted.
