Speeding bus hits bike, Swiggy delivery agent dies

KOCHI: In a tragic incident, a Swiggy employee died after a private bus hit his bike in Kalamassery. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Salam (41) from Kodungallur, Thrissur. Although Salam, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, was rushed to Kalamassery Medical College Hospital, his life could not be saved.

He was reportedly on his way to pick up an order from the Instamart warehouse when the incident occurred near the South Kalamassery flyover. According to local witnesses, the private bus, which was speeding, hit the bike from behind while attempting to overtake. CCTV footage of the accident has also surfaced.
