Recently released movie ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ broke the erstwhile records of Disney and Marvel to become the highest-grossing animated film in India. Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the movie was released in theatres on July 25th. As per box office reports released by Hombale Films, the movie has already surpassed Rs 210 crore in worldwide collection.

The 3D movie is available in most Indian languages across theatres. This movie is part of the mythological franchise of Hombale films.

Hombale Films expressed their contentment and joy over an Indian animation movie getting the deserved appreciation from audiences at a time when giants such as Disney and Marvel continue their suzerainty in the animation movie realm.

"This is not a religious film. There is faith, and the movie is asking all to simply surrender to that faith.” responded director Ashwin.
