NEW DELHI: The Indian Ministry of External Affairs warned Pakistan of a more detrimental response, similar to Operation Sindoor, if the country does not end their inflammatory rabble rousing. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that any act of aggression by Pakistan will be met with a severe response.
“Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir's rhetoric is to cover up his defeat. We will not accept the intervention of the International Court of Justice in India's freezing of the Indus Waters Treaty. The termination of the treaty will continue until Pakistan stops leading cross-border terrorist activities. Relations with US remain unchanged, and the India-US joint military exercise will be held in Alaska this month,” said the MEO spokesperson.
“If Pakistan collapses, we will take half of the world with us. We will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons, and will bomb and destroy any dam built in violation of the Indus Water Treaty.” This was the response from Asim Munir, which forced India to intervene.
India had terminated the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. On April 22, 26 tourists were shot dead in Pahalgam. The next day, India issued an order terminating the treaty as the first blow.
