Train stops halfway; Kochi Metro services temporarily suspended

KOCHI: Metro services were temporarily suspended in Kochi after a train developed a technical fault at Kaloor around 8 a.m. today. Services were halted following the disruption caused by the technical issue. Kochi Metro authorities are currently trying to fix the problem by moving the affected train to the Muttom yard for repairs. Officials said that the issue will be resolved soon.

According to the latest information, the train has started moving at a speed of about 10 km per hour. The disruption caused difficulties for many passengers, including students and office-goers who depend on the metro during the morning hours.
