KOTTAYAM: Popular film director Nisar Abdul Khader (63) passed away. He died while undergoing treatment for liver and lung diseases. Nisar is a native of Changanassery in Kottayam. His funeral will be held tomorrow at the Changanassery Old Mosque graveyard.
Nisar, who has been active in Malayalam cinema since 1994, has directed 27 films. His first film was 'Sudinam', with Jayaram and Dileep in the lead roles. He has directed many films including Three Men Army, Malayalam Masam Chingam Onnu, Newspaper Boy, Aparanmar Nagarathil, Auto Brothers, Dupe Dupe Dupe, Jagathy Jagadish in Town, Colors and many more. His last film was Two Men Army released in 2023.
