Face of truth is so distorted; makes my head explode’; Trans woman firm on allegations against Sarin

Dr Soumya Sarin, wife of CPM leader Dr P Sarin, stepped forward harshly criticizing Rahul Mamkootathil MLA facing sexual allegations. My husband lost polls honorably. There is dignity in that defeat too. I don’t know whether my husband forcibly gave any pill to abort and if anybody knows, please tell me, she penned in a Facebook post.

A transwoman and Congress activist Raga Ranjini had levelled allegations against Dr Sarin. 'I am talking to Dr Soumya Sarin. I have had a bad experience from your husband. I remained silent because I respect that person so much. When I went to Kasaragod for Samaragni Yatra, I went through a bad experience, and I was very much forced to stay there that night. I refused it lovingly. I am saying it now because you made me say,’ Raga Ranjini wrote on Facebook.

The post was widely discussed on social media. Raga Ranjini had later deleted the post. She has come forward now with an explanation for it.

‘How distorted is the face of truth. It makes my head explode. I am finding it hard to speak openly. Then think about others. I withdrew my post because I was mentally struggling with my family. My family won't allow me to go for party activities,’ her post said.
