Social media heaps praise on 'Mayor bro'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Soon after he was named as the CPM candidate for the upcoming Vattiyoorkavu by-election, social media has heaped praises on Thiruvananthapuram Mayor VK Prasanth. Thousands of people have come out praising Prasanth under his latest Facebook post.

"If Prasanth wins, it will be heaven for the people of Vattiyoorkavu and if he loses, it will be a great loss for them. So, it is up to the people of Vattiyoorkavu to decide whether they want heaven or hell," read one comment. Many also praised Prasanth for his great efforts in order to transport relief materials to the flood-affected areas during the recent floods in North Kerala.
