Netizens are laughing at an “irony” in one of the UK’s biggest far-right protests. Hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets of London to demonstrate against immigrants.

A video of an anti-immigration protester in London wearing an English flag taking a break from the protest for some Indian snacks has gone viral online. More than 100,000 people were marching through London for the protest organised by anti-immigration and anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson when the deeply ironic moment was captured on camera.

Robinson organised the ‘Unite the Kingdom’ march following the shooting of American right-wing politician Charlie Kirk. Protesters in London were seen carrying Britain’s Union Jack and England’s red and white St George’s Cross during the march. Some wore MAGA hats and waved Israeli flags, according to some reports.
A protester wearing a red and white England flag was filmed stopping at an Indian stall in the Southbank Centre to have a snack. The irony of the moment went viral on social media.

The video has racked up over 11 million views on X (formerly Twitter) and has been reposted on platforms such as Reddit and Instagram. Viewers on social media couldn’t help but laugh at the irony of an anti-immigrant protester stopping at an Indian food stall in London for an Indian snack.
